XOXO SYNOPSIS - Romeo Roberts and Juliet Leonard were initially drawn to each other by the pairing of their first names. Then, they discovered a shared love for violence and bloodshed that caused their love to bloom. After a five-state crime spree that included robbing six banks and murdering nine people in cold blood, they were eventually apprehended. A speedy trial and conviction sent Romeo to Riverbend Penitentiary and Juliet to Elmhurst Correctional. But, during that time, they've never stopped writing to each other. Each month for the last few months, they've been sending Valentine's cards back and forth. Romeo always signs his cards with an X, and Juliet always signs hers with an O. The Riverbend warden is convinced that the two of them are planning something big and the clues to their schemes are contained in those cards. Both sets of cards have been confiscated for further evaluation. Can you find out what these two star-crossed lovers are planning? Given what is known about them, it's probably a lot more than just kisses and hugs (XOXO).
STEP INTO A MYSTERY - Inside the mystery, participants will read a Beginning Brief and then examine multiple documents of varying type and size. It is then up to participants to recognize clues, connect-the-dots, solve puzzles, and progress through solving the mystery.
INTERACTIVE MYSTERY COMPONENTS – Utilizing the use of QR codes, as puzzles are solved and evidence is gathered, participants will unlock password-protected QR codes that will advance the storyline and provide more information for the investigation. Some unlocked QR codes may even instruct participants to open sealed envelopes furthering the investigation.
