You receive a mysterious envelope in the mail addressed to you.
For a moment, you hesitate. Is it just another piece of junk mail destined for the trash? Or something… different? Something worth opening?
Curiosity wins.
Inside, you find a letter:
“Hello, lucky player.
I am the Game Master.
You are receiving this correspondence because the universe has deemed you a worthy contestant in my treasure hunt. Hidden within a world of my own design lies a vast fortune - and now, you have the opportunity to find it.
Over the course of 12 weeks, you will receive 12 mailings, each unlocking a new level of the game. You will investigate unfamiliar locations, interact with mysterious characters, and solve intricate puzzles to advance.
But be warned… you are not alone.
Other contestants and forces within my world will do everything they can to see you fail.
If you are ready to begin your search for my life-changing fortune, simply say the words… GAME ON… and you will be transported into my world.”
